As the IT Manager, you will hold a very important role in the Algeria Plant :
You will be the site representative for all our Volvo Group IT organization, securing uptime time services of our infrastructure, supporting your colleagues on software issues and procurement of equipment.
You act on request of the central organization to implement the needed evolutions of our infrastructure, and you are the referent for cyber security and best practice.
You will work with all departments to consolidate their needs and follow up on their challenges providing solution, guidance and training when needed.
You are curious about new technology and enjoy exploring new field of competences.
In this role you will report to a director.
What you will do
Contribute to the daily plant efficiency by implementing IT Infrastructures/activities/ processes to support the operations.
Contribute to the plant digitalization journey by cascading the Volvo Group strategic vision and supporting the implementation change.
Build and maintain professional networks across different business functions and other plants, collaborate with peers, key business partners, and stakeholders to achieve excellence
You demonstrate a high level of integrity as a foundation to build trust in the organization.
Competencies
The ideal candidate for this position has master or a bachelor’s degree in IT infrastructure or Software or other equivalent area of expertise. This along with several years of experience (5 years as a minimum) from a qualified IT role in an organization, ideally from an international industrial environment/company.
You have a strong knowledge in :
-   Administration of windows server, SCSM, windows10/11, and Microsoft Office 365.
-   Networks LAN, WAN, WLAN
-   Cisco technology
-   Network monitoring and trouble shooting.
-   Management of end user issues
You are ideally ITIL V4 Foundation certified.
You have a good understanding of the business context and challenges. Your personal attributes are vital for success. You are persistent, have good prioritization skills, and enjoy problem solving. With a sense of service and cooperation, you are a person who easily develops good relationships with your surroundings. You are a self-starter, structured, analytical.
As all documentation and communication is in English, proficiency in the English and French language is required.
