Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Software Engineer with expertise in developing software applications including VR and AR applications to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy VR and AR applications for various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and virtual reality headsets.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Utilize industry-standard tools and technologies, such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, and ARCore/ARKit, to create immersive and interactive experiences.
Implement best practices for performance optimization, user interface design, and user experience (UI/UX) to ensure smooth and engaging interactions.
Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in VR/AR development and propose innovative solutions to meet client needs.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, and actively participate in knowledge-sharing and collaboration initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in application development, with a focus on VR and AR applications.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java, and experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Strong understanding of VR/AR design principles, spatial computing, and user interaction paradigms.
Experience with mobile development platforms (iOS/Android), web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and cloud services (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in communicating and writing professional reports in French and English
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
