Mobile App Development Manager

CONTEXT:
The Mobile App Development Manager oversees the end-to-end development lifecycle of mobile and web applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions that meet business objectives and technological standards.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead a team of developers, designers, and QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile and web application projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable development plans and technical specifications.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical oversight and guidance on mobile and web application development, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and performance optimization, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with project goals, contractual obligations, and service level agreements.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge:
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Deep understanding of mobile and web application development technologies, frameworks, and best practices like Spring framework, React JS, flutter, Android, ….
Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure Devops).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
