CAREER LEVEL: HourlyLOCATION: Tour ABC 11eme étage Bureau 1115, El Mohammedia- Les Pins Maritimes, AlgerBUSINESS UNIT: VEOLIA WATER TECHNOLOGIES AND SOLUTIONS, AlgeriaThe Instrumentation and Scada engineer will be reporting directly to the Project Manager. The position includes, but not limited to: designing, configuring, and deploying the SCADA system of new projects or modifications in relation with existing equipment and installation related to the desalination plant; Designing, installation and programming instrument and equipment for new project.In this role. The Instrumentation and Scada engineer will be also preparing documentation and procedures and will participate in the plant’s continuous performance improvement.Disclaimer: the duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or. the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

Mission :
The Instrumentation and Scada engineer is responsible to perform the below tasks but not limited to,Collect data and monitoringManage projects from start to finish: study, specifications and implementation and SCADA configuration.Developed, analyze, and review PLC, HMI/SCADA programs, using functional design specificationsProficient in programming and troubleshooting variable frequency drivesKnowledge of field bus protocol including, Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus, Genius, and TCP/IPIssue material requisitions to the procurement department for inquiry order placement and for any subsequent revisionsProject planning and managementCheck on the material request order whether compliant or notEstablish specifications for all the I&C equipments of the project departmentFollow up on projects (spare part, resource side) until the endMake supplier evaluation to choose the right one.Establish weekly and monthly reports and the annual review of activities.Up-to-date technical project documents,Monitor the execution of the work schedule and participate in the periodic evaluation of the progress of the work,Evaluate and optimize the time and the means necessary for the realization of the different stages of the projectFollow and control the progress of the project, the execution of the schedule and the respect of the budgetEnsure the final reporting of the workProspect suppliers of materials and equipment for the realization of projects and tasksConstantly research possible developments of equipment to optimize the operation of installations (new and existing) and proceed with their applicationSupervise and coordinate the work of all internal and/or external stakeholders (including subcontractors).Make interventions with maintenance in SCADA when it comes to critical interventionsPrepare the Shutdown work (task, resource, means, deadline)Correct all the reservations given by the other services concerning the projects carried out

Profil :
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:Instrumentation and automation engineer diploma Proficiency in the softwares : Proficy machine edition and CIMPLICITY knowledgement of GE fanuc PLC's Ability to work on prioritized & emergency needs of the plant process.Ability to establish and maintain relationships with co-workers & supervisors.Good knowledge of EHS Ability to work independentlyDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS;Fluent in English;Strong Knowledge of MS Projects;Communication skills
