eTalent is recruiting on behalf of its client for a:
Financial Accountant – Controlling and Reporting
Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and statutory audits for the legal entity in Algeria, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, international standards, and group guidelines.
Manage monthly management reporting, including Cognos and ad-hoc reporting, while ensuring adherence to group compliance and statutory requirements.
Perform bookkeeping in line with IFRS guidelines, including fixed asset management, amortization entries, and IFRS16 lease accounting.
Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoice processing, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Prepare annual cost center and CAPEX budgets, manage banking transactions and reconciliations, and ensure accurate petty cash control.
Oversee month-end closing activities, including commission calculations, intercompany transactions, and submission of monthly management reports.
Ensure payroll calculations and payments are processed in accordance with local tax regulations and review employee expenses.
Manage annual financial statements, organize financial audits, and ensure corporate income tax compliance.
Coordinate with legal, tax, and audit professionals to ensure compliance with corporate structures, laws, and regulations, including VAT and payroll tax preparations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
Proficient in Excel, SAP ERP, and COGNOS.
Strong command of English.
Experience with IFRS, financial audits, and tax regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial transactions and compliance requirements.
