Software Developer

Our platform is an online platform to connect innovation and manufacturing stakeholders, we are looking for a passionate Software Engineer and a junior software developer to design, develop and install software solutions.
Role of the Software engineer :
You are a software developer interested in building performant platforms with 5+ years of industry experience. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our platform, in collaboration with our team. As a senior developer, you will also communicate with other key stakeholders such as the founder on a regular basis. You should have a strong desire to take ownership of a product and see it’s development from beginning to end.
Ultimately, you role is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
Responsibilities :
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Write well-designed, testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with latest features
Requirements :
Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
Experience designing interactive applications
Ability to develop software in PHP
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL (mySQL)
Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JavaScript Framework)
Proficiency in software engineering tools
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Basic knowledge of project management tool Agile and the framework SCRUM
Collaborate with the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Contribute to and maintain our internal design system used across our web and mobile app.

5+ years of experience for senior developer
