Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, and performance optimization of turbines (gas/steam) and compressors (centrifugal/reciprocating/screw) used in oil and gas facilities.-Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for turbines and compressors. Lead or supervise overhaul and major inspection activities in collaboration with OEMs or contractors (GE, Siemens, Solar, Dresser-Rand, etc.). Diagnose operational issues and performance degradation, and provide corrective action plans. Review and analyze vibration, thermodynamic, and performance data. Ensure reliability, availability, and mechanical integrity of rotating equipment. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures. Maintain updated documentation, records, and technical reports. Ensure strict compliance with HSE and company standards during all mechanical interventions. Provide technical support during commissioning or shutdowns/turnarounds. Interface with vendors and OEMs for spare parts, upgrades, and technical support.-Technical Skills & Tools: In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment: turbines (gas/steam) and compressors (centrifugal, axial, reciprocating). Familiar with OEM procedures: GE, Siemens, Solar, MAN, Mitsubishi, etc. Proficient in vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring tools. Experience with CMMS (SAP, Maximo, etc.). Understanding of API standards: API 611, 612, 617, 618, etc.Soft Skills: Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities Strong communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams High commitment to safety and reliability standards
